Time and Death

Time and Death is an album by the project Polterngeist, which appears in various digital collections alongside works by established dark ambient artists. While the Belarusian project Ugasanie, led by Pavel Malyshkin, is widely recognized for its polar-themed dark ambient and drone soundscapes, Polterngeist represents a distinct entity within the same experimental sphere. The release contributes to a broader landscape of drone-oriented music that emphasizes sustained tones and immersive, atmospheric textures. As a wishlist pick, the album reflects the ongoing interest in deep, textural sound design that characterizes the contemporary dark ambient scene. The work aligns with the genre's focus on creating evocative, often haunting sonic environments through meticulous layering and synthetic processing.
