Originally issued in 2009 as a limited double cassette on the Excite Bike label, the album received a comprehensive digital remaster in 2024 via Astin’s own Athens-based imprint, Housecraft Recordings. The material was captured in 2008 in Gainesville, Florida, and functions as an expansive anthology of the artist’s highly individualized approach to sound design. Across twenty tracks and a two-hour runtime, the album navigates a dense terrain of shifting drones, lo-fi ambient textures, and spatial explorations. Astin utilizes tape loops, field recordings, and tactile contact mic manipulations to create a soundscape that balances eerie, abstract noise with moments of melodic beauty.
