GETTING STARTED Download Void Engine.zip and extract the entire archive. Open VOID_ENGINE.html in your desktop browser, keeping the resources subfolder beside the HTML file. Choose a preset and press PLAY. Some attacks are deliberately slow: give the sound time to unfold. There is no DAW plug-in to install. Import your exported WAV files into your audio software to develop your compositions further. Once downloaded, the engine and local manual work without an Internet connection. MIDI is optional. COMPATIBILITY This Web edition has been tested on Mac, including Chrome. Testing on Windows and Linux remains to be confirmed. MIDI availability depends on your browser and its permissions. VERSION HISTORY v1.0.2 (2026-02-18) Changes Improved AUTO PRESET rendering: corrected delay automation timing to address volume jumps and small noises during transitions. Smoother LFO transitions in offline renders: removed abrupt resets when changing modulation targets, smoothed waveform changes and preserved phase continuity. Improved source continuity: existing sound sources are retained when their generation seed and tuning remain unchanged between presets. Updated default MB settings: presets without saved MB settings now transition smoothly to the new default calibration. Saved MB settings and the MB lock retain priority.
